Practice Makes Perfect

I am pretty sure that there will be lots of T-Ball blogs the next couple of months!  We went down for a scrimmage game, and then brought the girls back for part of Spring Break.  T-Ball is quite an adventure with 3 and 4 year olds!  It's actually one of the cutest things I've ever seen! I must also add that it was 40 degrees with a brisk, freezing wind!!!

Next weekend is the official kick-off of the season!  The practice game was a good indication of lots of funtimes ahead!!

How cute is this!?!

The first inning she played in the circle and actually made 2 of the 3 outs!!

More Fielding! Every player (offense and defense) has a parent on the field with them. It can be quite interesting!

Batter up!

Boys being boys!  This is actually the other team, and this happened quite often.  I promise there is a ball somewhere on the bottom of the pile!

I stayed inside the activity center with Lillian and watched from the door for awhile, and then Pop kept her warm when we came out.

The best part of the game - snack time!

It seems like yesterday that we were cheering Lindsey on at her games!
I can't wait for a great season!

Hunting Eggs WWE Stlye

The girls won't be here for Easter, so we decided to have a little egg hunt for Maddie while the girls were visiting.  (They are actually here for another visit now. If it warms up we'll probably do this again!)

Maddie had such a good time!

She decided she wanted to hide the eggs for Pop and Uncle C! I will let the pictures speak for themselves...........

Maybe just a tad competitive!!!  It's probably best that we have no idea who found the most eggs!

Happy Easter!!

Tea Parties, Kites, and Eggs

We try to cram as much fun as possible into our visits!  We are worn completely out when the girls leave, but we wouldn't trade a minute of it for anything!!
Uncle C and Maddie had fun with sidewalk chalk!

We enjoyed a trip to the hayfield to fly a kite - and hang out a little bit!

Uncle C is the best!

One of the two cutest things in the world!!

Up, up and away!

We had lots of tea parties!

Even Papa enjoyed some tea!

Dying eggs is serious business!

Feeding the goldfish

Lots of memories were made!  And after a few days of rest, we can't wait to do it again!

The Cousins Came

The cousins came to visit and they brought PUPPIES!! Aunt Sandra and Uncle Tony had a litter of precious lab puppies!  They actually had one left that wasn't spoken for, and can you believe we didn't keep it!  It's not that I didn't want it, but Reed says Maybelle has to go first, and I don't believe we'll find a taker!  Just kidding!  We love her beautiful self!

Maddie loved playing with the puppies and the cousins.  Lillian had a great time, too!

Quite a handful!  She loved chasing them - and picking them up - and carrying them around the neck! The puppies didn't seem to mind too much either!!

Little Bit loved Grace, Anna, and the pups!

I think Wyatt is a doll!

Grandmother and Papa enjoyed the excitement!  Mrs. Nita also came to visit!

Simple, sweet fun times!

Precious!
