Little Bit

Lillian is growing up so quickly!  Her precious personality is really starting to shine.  To be honest, she is quite a cute little mess!  These pictures were taken before and after the farm trip with Maddie.  Love, love, love my angels!!

This was her daddy's bike when he was little.

Down on the Farm

Recently, I was able to enjoy a wonderful trip to the farm with Maddie's Preschool.  Pop was suppose to go on this trip, and I am quite glad that he wasn't able to make it.  I am all about making memories, and Maddie and I  made quite a few.  It was simply a perfect day at a beautiful local farm.  I love these adventures!

This one is growing up so very fast! That precious smile melts my heart every time!!

There were cows to milk.......

Friends galore........

Horses to ride........

Animals to learn about and pet.......

Horses and donkeys to feed and pet........

A hayride, sing-a-long, caterpillars, and lots and lots of memories!

I had a ball!  I love these special times!  Oh, I almost forgot! Maddie wants Pop to get her a cow to milk.  Any suggestions on where he can find one?

The Track

Every time Maddie comes to visit, she collects change.  She had collected almost $20.00 in quarters alone.  Nana thought the track would be the perfect place to spend her money.  (Pop also contributed to the cause!)  When we pulled into the parking lot, she said that it made her eyes tear because she was so excited!  Such a sweetie!  This was her first trip there, but I am sure it won't be the last!  Lindsey, Uncle C and Little Bit headed back to the condo after eating, while Josh, Pop, Maddie and I headed to the track!

Her first go cart ride!  Notice the cute little boy- He tried to pass her the entire time.  I think he was probably faster, but Maddie would cut him off every time!

Inside fun!  This is where we used her quarters.

Roll Tide!

Maddie and her daddy had lots of fun on the big go carts!

I love making memories with our sweet girls!

Flying High and Looking Good

Can you imagine our surprise when the Blue Angels began flying over as we were sitting on the beach?  And it wasn't just one or two fly overs!  The show went on for quite some time!  It was quite a treat!

Our kite also put on quite a show!

We took our annual beach pictures one night before eating!  I think we clean up pretty good!

I love my sweet family!

Beach Fun

We have decided that a late summer beach trip is going to be added to our yearly list of things we must do!  The weather was beautiful, and the crowds were almost non-existent!  All in all, I think we had a perfect trip!  The girls had a ball, and so did the adults!

Pop thought Maddie would enjoy her very own water slide down to the water!  He was right!

Uncle C enjoyed it, too!

Some people like to build sand castles.......

But these guys decided a sand man would be fun, too!

Little Bit enjoyed her wagon ride.  So did Big Sister!

Lillian enjoyed the beach-in small doses!

Love that smile! She loved sneaking up and trying to scare the big bird!

 Fun was had by all!

Next up, our very own personal show by the Blue Angels!

Happy Birthday

We were so very fortunate to be able to spend a long weekend at the beach for Reed's birthday.  During halftime of THE BALLGAME (whew!), we celebrated with cupcakes and ice cream.  Maddie loved "surprising" Pop!

Surprise!!

You would almost think it was Little Bit's birthday by the way she gobbled up her cupcake!

Happy Birthday Sweetie!  Thirty-nine still looks great on you!  We love you bunches!!

Grandparent's Day

I recently had the wonderful privilege of attending Grandparent's Day at Maddie's Preschool.  The program is very simple. You are invited to spend the morning doing what your grandchild does.  So, we met in the sanctuary for a brief service, and then joined the children for snack time.  Whales, animal cookies, and graham crackers never tasted better!  I treasure these sweet times, and wish they could last forever!

Maddie and Josh's sweet grandmother - Don't  you love the "please hurry up and get this over with" smile from Maddie?

Snack time!

Showing me her room with a couple of cute, sweet friends! (The bow came off as soon as we entered her classroom!  She is her mother's child! :) )

This and That

There is no possible way I can include everything we do when the girls are here.  To be honest, we try to keep things simple and somewhat on their routines.  However, I think every moment we have with them is special, and I try to capture each one.  So with that said, here are a few random pictures of some of our adventures.

Fun with Pop

Wait for me Sis!

Playing with Uncle C's old tractors!  The difference is that Maddie had me wash them off, so they wouldn't have any dirt on them.  I promise you Uncle C was all about playing in the dirt back in the day!

Getting ready to cheer on the Tide!

Visiting with Papa

This one takes meal time seriously!!

A little sisterly love!!
