One Down

It's safe to say the Pop would be happy if he never shot another deer, as long as he could continue hunting with this cutie!  They began hunting together when she was 4, and now at 7, she shot her first deer.  I'm sure this is the first of many.  Pop's working on a couple of new stands for her, so look out deer.  She'll be back soon!

Just took one shot from over 75 yards.

Sharing with Mom and Dad!!

Lillian and Reed were super excited!  Reed kept telling her "Good Job Maddie!"  He also has said all summer and fall that he wanted to put a big deer in the back of the truck.  Pop killed a big one last year, and he must remember seeing it in the truck.  The jury is still out on whether or not Lillian will ever go!

Love this cute little hunter!

Proud Pop!

Thankful

We began our week watching Lillian in the annual Thanksgiving Program at Jacob's Ladder.  It's always a wonderful program, and we were so proud of her.  Not only did she sing, she happily completed every motion.  We spent Thanksgiving Day at Sandra's.  It is always a treat to be there.  This was her first year to host the family for Thanksgiving and we all enjoyed it so much.

Waiting on the program at Jacob's Ladder to start.  Maddie was able to leave school early to enjoy the program, and then travel back with us.

We were so proud of this cute little pilgrim!

Just check out these motions!  She didn't miss a beat!

After the program, we waited as Lillian enjoyed her feast with the other pilgrims and Indians.

How sweet is this?

Wrapping things up and getting ready to head west!

Naptime!

Thanksgiving Day at Aunt Sandra's! We love spending time with them!  We have lots and lots to be thankful for!

Thankful - Grateful - Blessed

Another Gymnastics Meet

Another weekend - another fun event!!  Maddie had a gymnastics meet this weekend, and Pop and I got to spend some time with our cuties!!  She only has the state meet left in December.  This has been a wonderful adventure!  Maddie has had a ball, and we have loved watching her.

We had a little photo shoot in the hotel before we headed out to eat.

So much fun with this bunch!

Cheese!

Buddies!!

These two stayed in the room with us, so Maddie could rest up and be ready for the meet. She had to be at the facility bright and early. Did I mention that we had a king bed for the four of us?  Sometimes I would wake up and Reed would be beside me.  The next time  Lillian would be beside me.  One time, I woke up with her feet in my face.  It didn't last long, because we were up at 4:30 ready to go!    The highlight of the stay for these two was playing on the luggage cart.

Before long, this bunch of cuties were ready to begin!

The Beam - This is always the hardest for me to watch!!  She loves it though.  I'm always glad when she's safely back on the ground!

He has become a great little traveler and supporter!

This is my favorite event.  She did great, but afterwards she told her mom that she started on the wrong foot.  This made it a little challenging, but I promise I couldn't tell!

Vault- Another one of Nana's favorite events!

Entertaining the little ones!  I can't wait for Lillian to start competing, too!

Before we knew it, she was wrapping things up on the bars!

And then she got to collect some more hardware!!

 Watching big sis!

Showing off those medals!!  You go girl!!

Trying to take a picture of all three just wasn't meant to be!!

Love these stinkers!
