Pool Fun

Following the birthday party, we loaded up all three and headed back west.  This time we got an added bonus!  We stopped in Northport and picked up Rylie for a couple of days.  She is absolutely precious!  We all loved every second of her visit and can't wait to do it again.  An eight year old, a five year old and not one, but TWO two year olds, made this a very fun time!! I did not get my camera out the entire time they were here.  I hate phone pictures, but that's all I have for this post!

I think Pop and I deserve a prize!  We got all four dressed and to church with time to spare! We made sure to include plenty of snacks!

This was a a little photo shoot before church.

Snug as a bug in a rug.......No, Lindsey and Josh, Reed is not eating marshmellows in the bed........

A couple of weeks ago, our pool was really warm and comfortable.  After two weeks of rain and some cool nights, it is now officially cold again.  Don't tell the kids though!  These two are only 6 weeks apart, and they play wonderfully together.  I squeezed Rylie extra tight more than a couple of times for Di and David!

Can you say stinker?

This cutie is ready to swim!  She has lessons with Miss Mel next week, and we can't wait!!!!

They love visits to see Papa. I think he enjoys it as much as they do!

I'm not sure where Reed was, but the girls enjoyed a tractor ride!

Back to the pool.....

It's always fun when Uncle C and Aunt Tay visit!

Checking out the fun!

And then there was this.....Papa turned 85 this week.  Sandra came down and cooked a special birthday lunch.  There is a tremendous amount of grace, intelligence, wit and strength in this picture.  Uncle Clyde is 90, and since you never tell a lady's age, I'll just say that Aunt Lucille is the baby of the bunch.  Everyone should have the opportunity to sit down with this generation and just listen to the memories and stories they have to tell.  It's truly special.

Our three will be back next week for Bible School and swimming lessons.  We are looking forward to more fun and more memories!
