Hip! Hip! Hooray!

I kept this secret for waaaaayyy too long!  I was busting at the seams!  I actually lied to people to keep this secret (sorry!)  But now, the cat is out of the bag, and I can share it with the world!  Caleb and Taylor are expecting a baby!  Pop and I are thrilled to be adding another little one to our gang!  No one is happier than Maddie, Lillian and Reed!  Maddie has been waiting forever to be a babysitter! God has prepared both to be awesome parents, and we can't wait until March! Tonight is the big reveal! Will it be blue or pink?

Several weeks ago (like in July), Caleb casually mentioned that Todd and Tammy were coming for supper one night, and we could come if we wanted.  Now, I wasn't sure if that was a real invitation, or if he was just being nice........As it turns out, they surprised us after supper with a gift containing the precious onsie below!!!  We were surprised and thrilled!!

We had a little photo shoot one day that was super fun! Levi can't wait to be a big brother!

Then a few weeks later, they had a supper to tell the grandparents!

Taylor's Nana just happened to get the "special" cupcake that contained a little baby! The secret was out!

Papa had already figured it out due to a little slip of the tongue by Caleb!  He was still thrilled!

The grandparents and more-

Now, we are all patiently waiting on March! And as for the reveal-I am going to go on record and say I think it is a girl!  We shall see in just a few short hours!

Gymnastics Meet

Officially, gymnastics is a sport that requires balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, endurance and control. Unofficially, it's a sport that we simply love! Lindsey started us down this road, and now we are taking the journey with Maddie.  Lillian is almost ready to compete, too!  While you are performing as a team, all eyes are on the individuals as they perform!  It takes nerves and lots of willpower!

Pre-meet fun!

Ready to compete!

Lillian spent the meet playing, watching and supporting her big sis! It won't be long before she's out there, too!

Friends, family and fun!

She started on the floor! 9.1

The beam is usually her strongest event. 9.050

She simply did not have her  best performance on the bars at the last meet.  BUT, she worked really, really hard, and this meet the bars were her best event! 9.2

Winning is not what we strive for, doing your best and having fun is our goal!  With that being said, we all said, "Thank you, Jesus!" when this event was over!

The vault was on the other side of the gym and my pictures were terrible, but she also scored a 9.050 on the vault!  We were so proud that she scored over 9 on all 4 events!!

This stinker was a trooper!

Waiting on awards! And aren't they precious!?

Individual medals were awarded!

This two eagerly awaited the results! (Hat hair don't care!!)

And then this happened!!  She had no idea she had earned the top overall spot!!

You go girl!

Family picture time!

We can't wait until the next meet!  She is playing soccer  and practicing gymnastics during the week, with meets on every other weekend!  They keep us busy!

Winning is lots and lots of fun, but we are so proud that she worked hard and improved in every area from the last meet.  Win, lose or draw, we couldn't love her more!

Grandparent's Day

Originally, Grandparent's Day was scheduled on the same day for the girls and Reed.  However, Hurricane Irma caused the girls to be postponed a couple of days.  So, I left one morning at 4:30 for Reed's day,and then Pop and I left at 4:45 a couple of days later for the girls.  I love meeting their teachers and seeing where the spend their days.  Jacob's Ladder and Horseshoe Bend are both exceptional schools, and we are so thankful the kids have such great opportunities!  With that being said, we mostly like any excuse to visit and spend time with these sweeties.  They are growing up so fast, and we truly cherish these sweet times!!

Maddie, Lillian and Mam-Josh's sweet grandmother

I grabbed a coach and had him take a picture of us in front of Mrs. Smith's room.  That would be Lindsey's room! :)

Be still my heart!!

Maddie and Mrs. Queen-Isn't that an awesome name?

Lillian and Mrs. Milner-Lillian loves her!

For 31 years, I had my students make things like this for their parents and grandparents.  I hope they treasured those goodies as much as we treasure ours!

So glad Pop got to join us!

Love this smart girl!

Mrs. Glenda and Reed-She was also Lillian's teacher last year, and she is simply awesome.  She's also Josh's cousin!

Sweet boy!

And we love you, too!

Being a grandparent is one of the greatest joys ever!!  We break lots and lots of rules, but boy do we have fun!  The smiles, laughs, and even the occasional tears we have shared have created an unbreakable bond.  We couldn't love them more! Everyday we share with them is Grandparent's Day, but it's great to have a special day set aside to celebrate! We also have a special day coming up in a few days that will reveal what our new angel is going to be!  We can't wait!

Sweetie Pie

This sweet thing had majorette camp one day at school.  The girls were then able to perform at halftime at one of the ballgames. The girls also had Grandparent's Day at school the same day (more on that later).  Pop and I were suppose to leave home at 4:30, but the alarm was on silent! Somehow, we woke up at 4:30 and were out the door at about 4:50!

Precious!

She was just a tad bit excited!

The divided the girls-Auburn girls and Alabama girls.  Each group did the fight song, and then they did some things together.  Lillian and one of her friends were the youngest, but they were both awesome!!

Performance was over, and she was out of there!!

They performed during pregame, and Pop and I hit the road headed home!

Next up, Grandparent's Day!
