What a Weekend!

Lillian and Maddie are busy, busy with softball and soccer.  We have been making lots of trips there recently, but they haven't been able to visit here as much.  Due to a weather day, they were able to come for a long weekend!  We crammed lots of fun into a short period of time.  We didn't do anything special, but still made lots of special memories!

A trip to Mr. Tony's is always fun for this one!!

An even though the water was freezing, they spent a good part of one afternoon in the pool!

Hopefully, the water will warm up before the next visit!

There was also a pretty epic fishing trip!  Don't let the picture below fool you!  This little princess said fishing was way too boring for her!!

She stayed with me, and loved on Beau!

These two had a ball! I think they caught about 20 fish!

They love snuggles and visits with John Sawyer!

We also  visited the new play equipment at the walking track and made a new friend!

Lots of love in this picture in front of grandmothers roses!

We are headed east for a special program at Maddie's school and more ballgames!

Softball, Singing and a Sweet Baby

I am rapidly becoming the worst blogger ever.  We have just been super busy lately, so I have gotten quite behind!  I am going to try and quickly catch up, and do better as I go forward!

This sweet one is growing and changing every day!  You just forget how wonderful and special this newborn stage is.  It goes by so very quickly!  Pop and I do our very best to get in a few snuggles every day!

Lillian's opening day jamboree was postponed due to rain a few weeks ago, and was played this weekend.  They played two games and won both.  She played pitcher, second and third during these games.  And she hit her first home run!  It was a solid hit down the third base line! Her team is now 7-1, and lots and lots of fun to watch!

Playing second

Third

And pitcher's circle!! This was her favorite!

This was my favorite!  Homerun!!

Heading to first-

And rounding into home!!

Love that sweet smile!!

Postgame celebration!

We also attended Jacob's Ladder Day for Reed's last hoorah there!  We are all going to miss this place!  Maddie, Lillian and Reed have all attended. It has simply been a blessing for all of us!! We were so proud of him!  He sang, smiled and did all of the motions!!

Maybe he was singing a little too loudly!!

And last-Remember that swing bed I won a month or so ago? Pop and Willie spent a couple of days working on a special place for it........

It now has a new home, and I absolutely love it!!  If you can't find me, check the softball and soccer fields first.  If I am not there, you can probably find me here! We've never had anything covered on the top patio before, so I think we are all going to enjoy it!

Batting and Kicking

Basically, you can find Lindsey, Josh and the kids at a ball field or some type of practice everyday of the week.  Between soccer, softball, gymnastics, and dance, they stay pretty busy.  Nana and Pop can't make every game, but we try to be there as often as possible!  Both girls are having a very good season so far.  I love that they are active and involved in things that they enjoy! These pictures are from several different games!

Often, they will each have a game on  the same night across town from each other! Aren't they just precious?!

I'm not sure what we will do when this one officially starts playing!  Right now, he's happy getting in a little playing time with his dad before game time!

This little mess is the lead off batter.  So far, she has gotten on base every time she's batted.  Below is her first hit ever!

And this is the very first time she crossed home plate!  We might have been just a little excited!

Helping hold down the infield!

Another hit!  Notice her chatting on first base!

They never get too old to play in the sand! After her game, she and Josh rushed over to watch Lillian!

More batting, fielding, running and scoring!

And now a little soccer!  It is amazing to me how much all of the teams in her league have improved over the last two years.  We really enjoy watching her play!  I think I can finally say that I'm a soccer fan!

I love that even in the middle of a really good game, we still get a little wave.

A little post game hug from big sis!!

And this precious little nugget is growing and changing every day!
