More Summer Fun!

I am amazed at how quickly this summer has flown by!  Lindsey actually starts back to school this week, and the kids start back next week.  We have done our very best to make this a memorable summer for all!  Pop and I love spending time with our babies, and luckily we've been able to do lots of that.

This summer was a summer of firsts!  This one learned to ski!

This one learned to ride her bike without training wheels! There's no stopping her now!

And this one conquered the pool!!

We spent way too much time watering my way too many plants!! Luckily, I had great help!

And this little one continues to grow and change daily!

Maddie had to head home for gymnastics practice, but the little ones and I enjoyed a little fun at the playground, among other important things - eating ice cream, making cookies, playing with John Sawyer, swimming with Cathy's kids and such!

And  then we got to help celebrate sweet Princess Rylie's birthday.  She is just beautiful!

Daddy's Girl!

Cousins!

Hey sweet thing!!

I am headed east for the first part of the week, and Pop is going for the second half.  We are going to squeeze out as much of this summer as possible!

I thought the end of July would be the perfect time to write about the 4th of July...……..It's just been a really busy month, and I have had a really hard time keeping up.  I promise to do better in August.  We love hosting the 4th with the family.  Way, way, way back in time when Reed and I first started dating, his family met across the river at his granddad's on the 4th.  Eventually, it moved to his parents house.  We have been hosting it for about 8-10 years now.

We always sing happy birthday to this birthday boy!

This sweet girl is always ready to celebrate!

Josh helped Pop man the pit.

Chief Supervisor!

Just passing time until everyone arrives.

Papa and Uncle Sandra enjoyed John Sawyer.

Almost time to eat!

The gang's all here!

And now we swim!

We are so proud of Reed!  He's like a little fish!

John Sawyer enjoys the pool, too!

Happy 4th of July!! My goal is to have this year's Christmas post up before March!!

Summer Fun

I am amazed at how quickly this summer is passing by!  Lindsey actually starts back to school next week.  We are making the most of each day!  I'm not quite ready to get back into the swing of things. The big kids have spent lots of time with us, and that just makes each summer day more fun!

Caleb recently completed 3 years of banking school.  Way to go!

Celebrating with him in Mobile! Pop and Todd were also there.

We spent a super fun day at Geyser Falls with this bunch!

One cool dude!

Every time the bucket fell, Lillian did her best to be under it!

Pop and his littlest buddy!

We ventured into the world of slime...…..That's all I'm going to say about that!

Maddie improves more and more each time we go to the river!

These two thought this would be the perfect time to take a little nap in the boat!

Hello there barge!

It's like one day this little one decided to grow up on us.  He's reaching for everything, laughing, cooing and just being precious.

Beau has been working on his retrieving skills.  Gus and Maybelle are cheering him on!

More summer fun to come!

No Place Like Home

After several days of work and fun in our beautiful nation’s capital, I am happily heading home. I am actually posting this from the airport! This trip was filled with tours, work and friends. This is truly a remarkable city, but there really is no place like home!!
Just a few pictures from this awesome city-
