The Little Ones

I have been very fortunate to spend lots of time with the little ones the past couple of weeks.  However, I am truly missing the big kids.  Luckily, I will be with them all next weekend, while their mom and dad are out of town.  I can't wait.  Sadly, Jack and John Sawyer have been battling ear infections.  Even though they were feeling 100%, w still had lots of fun. I am also so ready for warm weather.  I actually love cold winter days by the fire, but I'm ready to move on to bright, sunny days.  We have managed to get a little yard work done in the past couple of weeks.  The projects just keep coming!

Could we possibly have two more real estate agents on our hands?  Jack found one of Pop's signs, stuck it on the tractor, and off he went!

Pop and John Sawyer practiced baseball one day at the park, and we enjoyed a little playground time while there.

I'm not sure which one enjoyed these practice sessions more!

This little fellow is moving up to coach pitch this year.  I think they get so many pitches, and then get to hit off a T.  Lots of changes this year.

That Little Tykes tee came through in a clutch!

Lillian will soon be playing softball again.  Reed has already started soccer practice.  Maddie is working hard with track, and has a 5K this coming weekend.  John Sawyer had his first practice yesterday.  We are gearing up for lots of travel and a very busy Spring.  This Nana can't wait!

Rainy Days and More

I am ready for sunny days, warm temperatures, and spring sports.  I'm totally over this rain!  No one loves a good fireplace day more than me, but enough is enough.  I'm also starting to run low on firewood, so bring on the sunshine.

Belle and Beau have found a nice warm place inside to try and stay warm. Belle is still recovering from her lung issues.  Even though she's much better, she gets to come in during cold, rainy days.

Belle is relaxing in a few rays of sunshine that managed to peek through the window. Can anyone say spoiled?

These two managed to get in a little traffic jam. I pick them up from school every Friday.  Most days, I bring them back here.  This day we stayed at their house to play.

It literally seems like yesterday that we were getting Lindsey dressed up and ready to go to various events.  Now, they are doing the same with these sweet girlsLillian and Josh enjoyed the Father/Daughter dance at their school.  This precious one had a ball not only with her dad, but also with her friends.  Isn't she beautiful?

Maddie's track team sponsored this event, so she got to be there, too. Love my sweet girls so very much!
They are growing up so fast.

The next night these two cuties enjoyed the Ball at the Bend event.  Maddie had a fantastic time, and didn't she look beautiful?

More to come!
