Summer

Summer is such a busy, but fun time for us!  So far, this summer has been filled with softball, river trips, pool time, a little work, a trip to the beach and more! We loaded the 3 big kids up after a softball tournament in Holtville last weekend and headed to the beach for a few days.  We headed back a little early for another tournament this weekend.  This time we loaded them up and brought them home for a few days for a little fun here. I am so behind on blogging that I'm not sure I will ever catch up!  I am going to share about our beach trip first. Pop and the girls enjoyed a super fun ride on the sky coaster.  That deserves a post of its own! So it's next and then I'm going to wrap up softball!  Our family also has a very special birthday coming up next week.  I can't wait to share about that!

Maddie, Lillian and Reed and the perfect age for the beach.  They are so easy now!! All we need is a little sand and a few waves for a very fun time!

Maddie loves to ride the waves.  Lillian joined her for a little while.  Maddie could do this all day long.

And give them a shovel and some sand, and they can dig quite the hole!

The water was quite rough a good bit of the time.

They still had a ball though!  And so did Nana and Pop.

 We sure did miss this walking, talking bundle of joy!  He is Mr. Independent these days, and we are loving every second of it!

Next up, the sky coaster and wrapping up a great year of softball! 

June - Catching Up

We have been super busy lately with lots of different things going on.  Camp, softball, birthday parties, and more have kept us in the road.  I love summer, and I especially love spending it with my grand babies.


This sweet girl participated in her first overnight camp and loved it!  It just doesn't seem possible that she's old enough for such!  

 She was the first to the top of the rock wall!

While Maddie was away, we picked up Rylie for a few days.  They love spending time with her!

Water Park Fun

We have celebrated sweet Lillian all week!  Turning seven is a really big deal, and she is so very easy to celebrate!  Lindsey and her family arrived here late the night before her birthday.  She was up bright and early to open her gifts. Then, all of us (except Uncle C who had to work) enjoyed the day at Geyser Falls on her actual birthday!  Sadly, we don't have many pictures from the waterpark, but trust me-we all had a great time!!


Bed hair don't care!! She rolled out of bed, and came down to open her presents!  The picture of the cake was actually after we returned from the water park. She got to open more presents from Uncle C and Aunt Tay.

The gang's all here and ready to go! We missed you Caleb!



John Sawyer was a trooper on his first trip to a waterpark. 

Maddie and Lillian went down all the slides, but we don't have pictures of that!  This is Pop and Lillian and Lindsey and Maddie on the Backsplash. Reed also loved Creaky Leaky, and enjoyed the smaller slides.  I hope to take them back again later in the summer.

I was able to celebrate the Phyllis and Lori's retirement this week.  So much fun! Welcome to the club!

We have another birthday party for Reed next week, and then softball All Stars will begin!
