Ten, Father's Day & More

We all gathered in Birmingham to celebrate Reed's 10th birthday and Father's Day. Little Reed had a party later in the week, but his actual birthday was on Father's Day. Everyone enjoyed a movie and then a trip to Cheesecake Factory. It's always great when we can all be together.  We are doing our best to stay cool in this unbelievably hot weather.

Pop and I grabbed the little ones and headed to enjoy Reed's birthday party.  Love these 5 more than they will ever know!

He got new fishing stuff for his birthday and he and Josh have been fishing a couple of times!

We snapped a quick picture leaving the restaurant during a heavy downpour.

Opening his present from us.

Happy Father's Day to the very best!

Well, Lindsey and Caleb have no memories of ever attending a fly by night carnival because we never took them.  However, these little ones will.  Also, I don't remember it, but Maddie, Lillian and Reed say we took them one time, too.  It may have been a little shady, but the kids loved it!  Taylor and Caleb also joined us.  Taylor and Pop rode with them on the rides.  Caleb and I cheered them on!!

More to come soon!!

Sweet Summer Time

Summer is in full swing around here!  So far, we've had Bible School, swim lessons, soccer camp, a sweet birthday party and more.  We have managed to squeeze in a good bit of pool time, which is always fun. We have lots more adventures planned!

These cuties got there summer do's!!

We've had some serious frog hunts around here lately!  The boys and Pop caught over 100 in just 3 nights!  Sadly, the goldfish pond is filled with tadpoles, so even more frogs will soon join us!  Reed is a frog hunting machine!

We loved celebrating this sweet 12 year old at Oak Mountain State Park.

It was an unusually cool day, but this group still had lots of fun!

This cutie and I enjoyed this playground while John Sawyer was at soccer camp.

There is nothing better than a little pool time on a hot day! Both boys just completed swim lessons with Mel.  She is just great!

Flying high!

Chilling!  We enjoyed having Lillian and Reed for several days.  Maddie was at a camp, and was greatly missed!

Reed is always a hit with the little ones.

Phyllis brought most of her grandkids to swim a few days during swim lessons and Bible School.  They had a ball together!

I'm missing a few here, but they had so much fun together.

Afternoon snuggles......I need to add that I have no idea where this picture was taken, but isn't it sweet!

Lillian is one of only about 3 people that Red Dog will let touch her.  Yes, we still have them.  Yes, I still want to find them a home.  No, I am not having any luck.  I am open to any and all suggestions.

Pop and I enjoyed a fun morning fishing with the little ones recently.  Such sweet memories!

More soccer camp, another birthday, Father's Day and more coming soon.
