A Little Guy Fun

There is nothing Reed and Caleb enjoy more than spending a little time in the woods.  Reed and Caleb had been watching this deer for a while on the game cameras, and Reed just happened to be in the right place at the right time today.

Caleb is in the middle of several tests this week, but he headed home to check it out and help his dad get it out of the woods.

Good job Dad!!

I love seeing these two together.  The next one's Caleb's!

We are Thankful

I love any occasion that allows us to get together and enjoy good food and even better company.  However, Thanksgiving is definitely one of my favorites!

The morning began in the shop with Reed and Mr. Jack frying up the turkeys.  Delicious!!  Wyatt and Caleb arrived to help sample!

Papa, Reed and Caleb

I love the simple things of get togethers - playing games, talking, and just being together.

Now, the real fun begins!  Time to eat!

And the fun continues after the meal!  Nothing like climbing trees and playing a little football and tic tac toe!
This is one of my favorites!  Lee is sound asleep sitting up in the swing!  Josey and Charley woke him up!  Too cute!!

The Gangs all here!!
(Except for Josh, Lindsey and the girls)

Josh and Lindsey spent Thursday with his grandmother and family.  He had to work Friday, but Lindsey and the girls were able to join us for the weekend.

We are truly thankful for all our blessings!

Next up, our Gingerbread Houses!!

Pilgrims and Indians

Maddie's preschool recently held their annual Thanksgiving celebration.  It was precious-around 90 3 and 4 years dressed as either a pilgrim  or Indian and put on quite a show!!! The songs were great, and I wouldn't have misssed it for the world!  All of the Indians were given an Indian name.  Maddie was "Shy Fox."

Maddie wasn't exactly thrilled about this production, but she was awfully cute!!
My pictures only show a small portion of the kids.....They were all adorable!
And I think Little Bit will soon be crawling.  She is the happiest baby!

We are so thankful for these two special blessings!!

It's a Sister Thing

I simply can't wait to watch these two continue to grow up together.  Maddie is already such a great big sister.  Lillian smiles brighter and laughs louder whenever Maddie is entertaining her.  These pictures were taken on our last trip and I thought they deserved a post of their own!  I love the one of them holding hands!  Lillian laughs and smiles all the time, but I rarely seem to have my camera ready at the right time!

Now, all we need is a little brother!!

We're On Our Way

Late last Friday afternoon, I answered my phone, and the conversation went like this-"Nana, if you and Pop come to my house today, I'll come to your house next time." So, I call Pop at work, he hurries home, we throw some clothes in a bag and off we go! Another quick, but oh so fun trip!  (Except for one slightly disappointing ballgame.)

First, Little Bit is busy exploring everything around her - until she decides to take a little nap!

Maddie enjoyed lining her dolls up and getting everyone ready for "school."

No trip is complete without a visit to a park!  Around and Around she goes!

I am not sure I can explain exactly what this smile does to me or her Pop!

She found the perfect hiding place and walking trail!

We love our short, quick trips!  I am headed back in a few days, and I just can't wait!!

Greatest Show on Earth

Disney certainly knows how to put on a show!  We met Josh, Lindsey and the girls for a fun filled afternoon at Disney on Ice.  Maddie is big into Princesses right now, so she really enjoyed the show.  Reed and I enjoy anything that allows us to spend time with them!

A little pre-show fun!

I promise there were people all around us, and we really weren't early-everyone else was just a little late!

Everyone was there!  Alice, Tinkerbell, all the Princesses, Captain Hook, Peter Pan, and the Lion King just to name a few!

And the show wouldn't be complete without Donald, Goofy, Mickey and Minnie!

The highlight for us - all of the princesses!!

Little Bit gave out, but Pop didn't mind!

And Uncle C is going to get me for this, but in a few months he will begin working in one of these great big buildings!  I think his office is in the Wells Fargo building, but if not it's one of those other tall ones! We are so very proud of him, but more on that in a few months!!

You Can't See Me

On a recent trip to the park, Maddie and Pop played a little Hide and Go Seek. She loved looking for Pop and was thrilled everytime she found him!  When it was her time to hide, she liked hiding in the same place most of the time!  My favorite was when she hid behind a pole and would simply walk around it as Pop pretended to look for her.  If she couldn't see him, then he couldn't possibly see her!  She is so much fun!

Check out that face when she finds Pop!  I also must add that Pop is quite the sport!

All smiles as she slides and swings!

Future Teacher?

While visiting the Hands on Museum, Maddie got to drive a tugboat, play in a store, sit on a tractor, stack blocks, and slide down a beaver dam among other things.  However, her favorite was the old time school house!  Shortly after we entered that room, she told us to wait and she took off running back up a ramp to a room with dress up clothes.  She came back with three hats!  She said she even got a boy hat for Pop!  After she put the hats on us, she took her place at the front of the class and began teaching!

(And Reed said that I better not put that picture of him in the hat on the blog, so if you see him shhhhh!!!)

School is serious business!

Lots of fun at the Hands on Museum!
