What a Week!

Pop and I had a ball with the kids for I think six days.  Pop and I agreed that we were going to keep things low key and not plan too many activities for this visit.  But that didn't mean we didn't have lots and lots of fun!!  Bible School, swimming, cousins and friends made this a week to remember!! Also, Lindsey had quite way too much excitement as she tried to return form Dallas. You never want to fly out of an airport on the day of a shooting at the airport! She actually arrived at the airport moments after it happened. After several hours and seven flight changes, she was able to fly home!

Uncle C and Aunt Taylor came to visit!  The kids always love doing the airplane with Uncle C.  Aunt Tay did it too, but I wasn't sure she'd appreciate me putting the "back" view of her picture on the blog!

Daisy and her momma Minny are now happily at home in Alex City.  

This little one is quite the fish!!

It's always fun to have friends come visit!

 Reed, Levi and I took lots of rides around the neighborhood while the girls were at Bible school!

Cousin Day!!

We began each day with Bible School.  Both girls loved it and learned so much!

Scooba Steve was a big hit with Lillian's class!

Another great visit is in the books, and we are already looking forward to the next one!

Ducks and The Park

While visiting in Alex City, the babies and I made a trip to the park.  They have a huge park that has a little something for all ages.  Reed is a little more adventurous than I would like right now!! He has no problem climbing all the way to the top and taking off running!!  Nana was right behind him every step of the way!! We stopped by McDonald's on the way, and had a ready made picnic!

Sometimes I look at this one and want to cry!  She is growing up so quickly!!  She is also fixing to be a snaggle tooth!  Her front tooth is just about ready to come out! It's actually hanging sideways!

We left the park and headed to the duck pond! These ducks were treated with biscuit crumbs, goldfish and cheerios!  They seemed to enjoy every bite!

They will soon be here for several days!  I can't wait to make more memories!

Cousins and More Cousins

We had our first cousin swim day of the season.  If you see Maddie, please don't tell her.  She gets very sad when they come and she's not here!! This is one of my favorite things about summer!

I didn't get a picture of Anna for some reason, but Reagan, Ella and Emory also joined us!

Memorial Day we enjoyed a fun day of swimming in the pool, and then journeyed up to Aunt Sandra's for some more cousin time.

Maddie played bad mitten for the first time.  It just about got the best of her.  We're going to see about getting a set, so she can keep practicing!

Uncle Tony won the prize when he brought the horses out!!  The girls loved them!

Anna took this picture.  I may be a little prejudice, but I think my grandbabies are pretty darn cute!!

I am happy to say that there were a few shrimp in the 90 pounds of crawfish that they cooked!
