Pumpkin Patch

We pretended that it wasn't over 90 degrees outside, loaded up the babies and headed to the pumpkin patch. I had never been to Country Pumpkins and thoroughly enjoyed it!  Hayride, train ride, pumpkins, and lots of playground activities made this an awesome trip!  It was also John Sawyer's first trip to a pumpkin patch. I am so ready for cooler temperatures and real fall weather!! Where you may ask are Josh and Lindsey?  Currently, they are on a cruise ship for their 10th anniversary dodging Hurricane Michael!  The kids are here for Fall Break, so we are doing our best to keep them busy.

Pop and I sure do love these cuties!

John Sawyer and his parents were troopers on this hot day!

Maddie, Lillian and Reed loved everything about the day!  They also picked out 3 of the biggest pumpkins in the patch!

The train ride was a big hit!

We'll have to go back next year and see how much they've grown!  John Sawyer will be walking everywhere then!

First hayride for this little one!

So much fun for all!!

And on another note, Lindsey and Caleb always swam in March when they were growing up.  It would be absolutely freezing, but they would still swim for hours.  However, I can't ever remember us swimming in October.  Normally, when the temperatures get cool at night, the pool cools off quickly.  This year that just hasn't been the case with the super hot temperatures! These guys enjoyed one last swim for the year!

The kids also enjoyed helping Uncle C get the fall display ready for the bank!

Happy Fall!!
