Maddie is busy with her competition season right now. Immediately after John Sawyer's dedication last Sunday, they rushed out to get to her meet in Birmingham.
(More on John Sawyer's dedication next time. His parents haven't seen the pictures yet.) We headed that way immediately after our family meal at the church. Sadly, due to a very bad wreck we were late getting to her meet, so we missed two of her events. I told Pop that seemed like a very small thing after seeing the wreck. She continues to excel doing something she truly loves, and we couldn't be prouder. Due to the tremendous amount of time this sport requires, we aren't sure how much longer she will compete. This is solely her decision, so we will patiently wait for her to decide. And, we are going to enjoy every minute of this season!
This princess enjoyed the photo booth on the way in to the meet! Her sweet brother wanted no part of it!

Sweetest sisters ever!
She has another meet next weekend, and Lillian has a ballgame. Following that they are headed to Nana and Pop's house for Fall Break, while their parents head out on a "big boat"( as Reed calls it) for their 10th anniversary. Fun times ahead!!
