What a weekend! Turning 9 is a very big deal, and we spent all weekend celebrating! We began with a fun outing to the new zip line course at Wind Creek Park. This is no ordinary course! There were a total of 10 zip lines! I think the longest was 700 feet long! To me the steps leading up to each level were the scariest by far! These girls did an awesome job! I am terrified of heights, and I simply can not imagine how anyone could do something like this, but the girls seemed to love it!
The ducks were way more interesting to this little one!
The guys got in a little sight seeing before the girls arrived from school.

Geared up and ready to go! Did I mention that one of Maddie's friends had a broken arm? It did not slow her down one bit!!

And they are off!! They climbed, they zipped, they laughed, they climbed, they soared, and they conquered!!!
The night ended with a trip to Maddie's favorite Mexican restaurant!
This adventure ended, but the weekend fun continued with the Alabama Regional Gymnastics meet, and a visit with John Sawyer! More on that plus lots and lots of softball and soccer next time!
