Park Visit and a Program

Pop and I recently attended a special program at Maddie's school.  Pop had to come back for work, but I hung around for a soccer game and softball game.  The kids and I managed to squeeze in a trip to the park.  We love a good playground!! They are so easy now that they are older!  Maddie is like another mama, so trips like these are a breeze now!

It took about 10 attempts to get this smile!  The little stinker just wasn't into it.......

This little one will celebrate her birthday at the end of the month. It's been a  great 6 years!!

And this nine year old is just about as special as she can be!!

Sweetest sisters ever!

Earlier in the year, the gifted class interviewed and wrote a paper on an older person that is special to them.  These interviews were compiled into a book and presented to the people at the program we attended.  Maddie chose her Pop!  She told something about him, and he was presented with a copy of the book!  And the something she told about him was that he was married in 1882!! It has been a long time, but not quite that long!
