Twenty Eight

For twenty eight years, we have grabbed a plain old box, icing and assorted candies and worked our magic on our candy houses.  It is a tradition that I hope to continue forever!! We planned to do this outside, but it was a little too cold outside and there was a ballgame on.  So, we moved everything in the den this year.

All set up

Love this sweet smile! She was ready to dive in and get started!

We had a little photo shoot before we dove into the houses!

And this little shot that took about 30 seconds actually became our Christmas card this year!

I think Maddie must be telling John Sawyer all about the fun we were fixing to have!

Getting started.

Josh and Reed helping each other get it just right!

This one is an old pro now!

Always cheesing!

The perfect house takes lots of concentration......

What about me?

Reed's showing him the ropes!

Josh found the tiniest box ever and worked really hard on his astronaut/angel/gas pump!!

Pop's sharing some pointers with Reed.

John Sawyer's ready to help his mom.

Concentrating...…...

He didn't get to decorate this year, but he did get a box to play with!

Our finished village-

Maddie's house -Lillian's is behind hers.  I didn't get a picture of it, but plan to and add it later.
