The Fun Begins

Organized Chaos and Scattering Ants were two of my first choices when naming this post.  Our first visit to T-Ball practice brought back lots of old memories, and in turn we made lots of new ones!  I must say that Maddie's coach is amazing.  She has managed to find ways to keep 3 and 4 years entertained and learning for over an hour at a time!  That is no easy task!  Also, there are as many adults on the field as children, and she keeps them engaged, too!  I can hardly wait until the first game!!

Ok-Reed and I couldn't figure this one out at first- there were Easter eggs scattered all over the field when we arrived.  (Reed said now he knew where he went wrong at all those practices, since he never used Easter eggs......)It turned out to be a GREAT idea!! The kids had to run and grab the eggs and run back to place them at a tire at home plate!  That is also where she is teaching them to place their bats after they hit!

Practice is divided into stations.  They practice throwing, catching, batting and running at different stations.  There is lots of help at each station.

Working on throwing

And batting.....There are people from the Senior Activities Center helping, too.  I just love that!

Running the bases!

This sweet smile is what it's all about!

And Little Bit is always close by ready to help out if needed!

LET'S PLAY BALL!

More on Little Bit next time!
