What a Year!

Please hang with me on this post.  I am going back in time.  I am having a blog book printed, and since I started blogging in July, I wanted to go back and add the first of the year....Does that make sense?

As I was looking back through pictures of the beginning of 2010, I was amazed at the changes in Maddie.  She is such a big girl now.  Watching her grow is absolutely amazing.

Josh and Lindsey had a wedding in Mobile, so we went and stayed at

my aunt and uncle's to help with Maddie. 

It was cloudy and cool, but she loved the sand.

I started the blog shortly after this beach trip. Thanks for letting me catch up the year with this blog.   I can't wait to see what 2011 will bring.  Caleb will be a junior at Alabama, Maddie will turn 2, and I am sure we will be in for lots of surprises......

Christmas Day - Part 2

We always enjoy spending Christmas night at Reed's parents.  It is wonderful to see all the cousins, and aunts and uncles.  Scott (our nephew) and his family live in Oklahoma now, so we don't see them very often.  I love watching all the cousins play together.  Even if they don't see each other often, they seem to pick up right where they left off....




I must begin with this first though - It may not have been much, and it may not have stuck, but it was snow. 
I think that officially qualifies as a white Christmas!

The tree is down and all the decorations are put away.  Even though I start really early preparing for Christmas, I hate to see the season end.  Wouldn't it be wonderful if we really kept the spirit of Christmas alive all year long?  I  can't wait until next year!
