We left around 2:00 one afternoon and traveled to Louisiana-
We stayed in Baton Rouge. I picked up this map at
the visitor's center. It wasn't that I didn't believe the
trusty GPS would get us there-It's just good to have
a back up.
We did a little shopping here.........
We had a wonderful supper at the restaurant inside
the Bass Pro Shop. This was kind of a big deal because
the last road trip Reed and I took, we spent hours looking
for a "nice" place to eat.......We eventually gave up on that
trip and ate at KFC. This was MUCH better!
After Reed took care of some quick business the next
morning, we had a tasty breakfast here and then headed home.
Simply beautiful! This was flying across the road from
Cracker Barrel.
It was really great to know that we were getting closer, but this
wasn't quite like coming home to us......
Now, this was much more like it.
Twenty five hours after we left, we were back home.
Short, sweet and a wonderful time with my hubby!
